Exciting Times

One of the things I have noticed lately is the proliferation of articles about the changing energies in our universe. Some are attributing it to the coming of 2012, to Armageddon, to alien visitation, and to the environmental changes. Some have even gone so far as to write: “make sure you have food and water, your will made up, etc.”

I agree that the energy is building – and that big changes are coming. How could they not!! With the way things have been going on the surface level, it looks like everything is falling apart – yet, what if everything is really falling into its right and perfect places?

What if all the individual prayers for peace, harmony, prosperity, right-work, health, and love are coming into fruition right now? Things certainly are showing up more quickly in my life! I just have to think a thing and there it is!

And because what I am experiencing is just a microcosm of the macrocosm – what if all the prayers we’ve been doing for world peace, health, prosperity and food and water for all, are coming into fruition right now?

Have you noticed that in your own experience, things seem to look the worst just before they get better??? The old paradigms are in their death throes, battling to stay alive. The new paradigms, that I believe we set up more publically in the ‘60’s, are taking their places.

We are living in exciting times!! And each of us is going to experience these times by what we focus on. It is more important than ever to keep the High Watch. It is more important than ever to keep claiming Good for all. Here’s a spiritual practice for you: At least four times today, let yourself stop what ever you are doing, take a few deep breaths and say “I live in a wonderful world.”


SPIRITUAL MIND TREATMENT

I am so grateful to remember Who I Am – God in form, having an experience of being human through and as me. I am grateful to know I am Love and using Law in every moment.

I refuse to participate in a conversation of doom and gloom. I am living in world of my making that is peaceful and filled with happiness, health, wealth and creativity. I am living in a world that works for everyone. I declare I am ready to ride the wave of good for all.

As I speak these words, I let them sink deep into my subjective mind and become fully embodied there. Nothing can move me off Center because this is where I am rooted in faith. I trust God, the Good and my All–Sufficiency, with my whole being.

Gratefully I release these words into the Law of Mind, knowing they are already so, and so it is.

Trust

More and more I am realizing the importance of Trusting! Many people will pray about something and then go right back to worrying about it. Worry is negative prayer. I believe the good we are praying for is instantly attracted to us – returning to worry prohibits it from coming into our experience.

When I feel myself in this situation, I like to use the Power of NO! As I catch myself worrying, I say “No! This is not my Truth. I prayed about this and I know prayer works! Nothing is too hard for The Divine! I let go of my fears and trust!”

Dr. Holmes writes in today’s 365 Science of Mind,

“I know the Infinite Creative Law is always bringing complete satisfaction into my experience. I am conscious that there is an Infinite Wisdom directing me. Whatever I should know, I will know. Whatever I should do, I will do. Whatever belongs to me, must come to me, and because of this Infinite Intelligence that is mine and that is within me now, I am compelled to recognize my Good, to see more, to understand and accept and express more.”

Let’s trust this Truth!!


SPIRITUAL MIND TREATMENT

There is an infinitely intelligent Power working through everything right here and now, including me. This Power is a palpable Presence that lifts my heart, and fulfills my mind. This Power is both Love and Law, and works through me at the level I will accept for It to work.

Today I declare I am open to all the blessings of the Universe. What ever I have been praying about, I now choose to accept that this Power is so awesome It can fulfill all requests with ease. I let Spirit go before me preparing my way. Being Infinite Intelligence, It knows how, when, why, where and who. I breathe deeply and let go of my fears. I trust God to do Its perfect work, in, through and as me.

Gratefully I release these words into the law of mind, knowing they are so now – and so It is.

Trust

Friday night was the closing party for our Summer Conference at Asilomar. What an awesome, history-making week it has been! Religious Science International has changed its name to International Centers for Spiritual Living, and we have officially voted to participate in the integration process, bringing what was once one organization that became two in 1954, back together. We are practicing what we preach – Oneness!

The speakers and workshops were inspirational, the music was incredible, the food delicious, and the grounds beautiful. It was great fun to talk with friends I haven't seen for years, and meet many new ones. I am so glad I attended!

I have a notebook full of talk ideas from the notes I've taken. To synthesis all these ideas into a smaller package for this Friday Message, I'd have to say the main theme was Let go of separateness and Trust the process.

If we are feeling anything that is not Love .. we believe we are separate. If we are feeling angry, resentful, victimized, left out, abandoned or feeling like "they" (whether "they" is people or the environment) are against us, we have separated ourselves from Love.

How do we move back into Love? We pay attention. We find something to be grateful for. There is so much. We can be in awe of the mystery of how our body works … how our mind works … the wonder of communicating with others with our bodies, minds, hearts and Spirits. We can be in awe of our ability to choose what we desire to experience and the mystery of Principle at work in our lives.

We remember God is Love – and Love is everywhere we are, therefore it is impossible to be separate. We can let go and trust the process.

A wonderful song by Erika Luckett, one of this week's musicians, had this line: "If we're not in awe, we're not paying attention." I just looked up to see the tree outside our room window filled with little birds. They are living in a separate reality, yet it is integrated with ours. This is the way it is with the people in our lives – at our work, at home and at play. They have their own reality, yet it is integrated with ours. How awesome it is to let go of feeling separate and to trust the Loving Intelligence within them and within ourselves.

Dr. Ernest Holmes, the founder of our organization, said over and over: "There is a Power for Good in the Universe, and you can use It." This is our Truth. Together, we are creating the lives we want to live and making the world a better place.

SPIRITUAL MIND TREATMENT

I acknowledge the One Mind out of which all unmanifested energy becomes manifest. The One Mind that is infinitely intelligent and unconditionally loving. The One Mind that is everywhere present and all powerful. I am using this Mind all the time. There is no way I could not. Though my thoughts and feelings, my world is created.

I now let go of any feelings of being separate. Right where I am, God is, and where God is, all is well. Since God works through me effortlessly attracting who I think I am and what I think my life is about, I declare that I bring a fresh, new consciousness of Love into my life and into every place I am.

There is nothing in me to support separation. I was created to enjoy Life. There is only One Life, that Life is God's Life and this is the life I am living. It expands in me and my heart knows Oneness.

How grateful I am to be able to let go of the belief in separateness and to trust the process! How grateful I am to recognize myself as Love!

I now release these words into the Law of Mind, knowing they are already done. And so It is.

I drove by a church marquee today and read:

“If God is your co-pilot – swap seats.”

I’ve used that phrase “God is my co-pilot” many times …. Yet this morning I understood it at a deeper level. I’ve been saying it as if I am the one in charge – like I’m greater than God and God is here to assist me. It’s true – I am in charge here. God as the Law is here to assist me. I make the decisions and the Law does the work.

Yet, what if I did switch seats? What if I let God be the pilot, and I assisted It? Do I have the courage to totally turn my life over to God? God is an infinite field of creative potentiality. It is all knowing, everywhere present, all powerful. It is unconditionally loving, When I remember this, and let go, I trust, and Life works better than I ever imagined it could.

Does this mean I never make any decisions or intentions? No, of course not! It DOES mean I take my life to a deeper level, a level I could call surrender. Now surrender is not a word I like. I looked it up and the definitions seem so negative. Yet, the idea of surrendering that part of me that thinks it has to do everything all by itself sounds like a good idea. When I think of surrendering, I want to surrender to Love. God is Love.

Dr. Holmes defines Love in the glossary of the Science of Mind as:

“Love is the self-givingness of the Spirit through the desire of Life to express Itself in terms of creation. We are also told in the New Testament that “He that loveth not, knoweth not God; for God is love.” Love is free from condemnation, even as it is free from fear. Love is a cosmic force whose sweep is irresistible.”

Fear – that’s what I’d like to surrender. Fear, doubt, and uncertainty.

Spirit Within is urging us to open to our expression of Itself, to surrender our littleness, to discover the greatness of who we really are. Yet it seems many have been so conditioned to believe we are not worthy that this can be an uncomfortable process. We can surrender that uncomfortableness! We can trust The Divine! Surrender to Love. Love heals. God is Love. It’s time to let God back into the pilot’s seat!!

There is only One Perfect Presence, the infinite Source of all that is. It is absolutely everywhere, including within me.

I know my life is pure Spirit, taking form as all that I am - - as my body, my personality, my thoughts, my experiences, and more. I now see Spirit taking form as my Visions and desires. I know the Law works, so I let God do Its perfect work.

I see Spirit taking form as our Spiritual Home. It reflects the qualities of Spirit I resonate to. It reflects the beauty, serenity and peace of The Divine, yet it empowers and inspires me.

I am so grateful for the easy and effortless way everything comes about in my life and in the life of our Centre. I relax because God is in the pilot’s seat!! I release these words knowing they are done, and so It is.
