This weekend is Thanksgiving in Canada. I love this holiday. Gratitude is my favourite state of mind.

Most of the time, when we think of being grateful, we think about what we have and what we’ve received. What if this year we were grateful for all we can give?

If you really think about it, giving and receiving are the same energy - Divine Energy working through us - and since we think of God as the energy of Love, in Truth all we can really give or receive is Love.

True giving is simply giving of your Self and receiving of your Self. It has nothing to do with anything material or measurable.

In the front of my Bible, I have listed a collection of prosperity quotes. One of them reads God loveth a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work.—II Corinthians 9:6-8.

The Divine loves the cheerful giver because the mind and heart are open, and the pure substance of Being freely flows out into the world and balances all things.

Give in love — give when you cannot see any possibility of return. Give your real substance, the substance of your heart, your authentic Self. Bless everything you give. See yourself as a joy filled agent of The Divine handing out a great bounty from the inexhaustible supply of Good.

What are you grateful for that you are able to give?

I am so grateful I can give Love, inspiration, empowerment, compassion, smiles, encouragement -- all that I am and all my gifts and talents to You!

Happy Thanksgiving!!

Grateful Blessings, Rev. Angelica

SPIRITUAL MIND TREATMENT

Gratefully I recognize the powerful Presence of The Divine absolutely everywhere. It is around me and within me. It is the Source of all. Divine Mind, through my thoughts and feelings operating in Law, creates.

As I look at my life reflected all around me, I delight in my creations. Even those I might feel need changing I delight in, because I see how powerful I am.

Today I choose to be grateful for all I can give. I am grateful to have the choice to be nonjudgmental, compassionate, wise, fear-free, and to give these qualities of being to the people in my life. I am grateful for my gifts and talents and my ability to give these to my world. I am grateful to give friendship and solace where needed. I am grateful to give Love.

I recognize The Divine in each person from this moment on. I see them as their authentic Selves. I am truly grateful to the One Life that is living us. It is good, very good.

And so it is.
