Thank You Dr. Holmes

January 21 is the 125th anniversary of Ernest Holmes' birth. Dr. Holmes was the founder of Religious Science, my faith tradition -- a tradition that changed my life, and the lives of thousands of others. Holmes was a radical thinker for his time, and I think he would have really enjoyed the times we live in now. I think he would have followed science avidly, been outspoken about how to live in times of recession and unrest, and he would have been really proud of what we have achieved as an organization coming back together.

You know the question "If you could have a dinner party with anyone, who would you invite?"
I'd invite Dr. Holmes, Deepak Chopra, Eckhart Tolle, Jean Huston, Barbara Marx Hubbard, Elizabet Sahtouris, Dean Radin and maybe even President Obama. Dr. Holmes could hold his own in any of these conversations -- biology, science, philosophy, anthropology, philosophy and politics. What a magnificent evening it would be!

Dr. Holmes created a teaching that works for and with everything.
Borrowing knowledge of reality from all sources, taking the best from every study. Science of Mind brings together the highest enlightenment of the ages. ~Ernest Holmes

It isn't a teaching that you learn once and you've got it. It know it keeps growing in me as I continually study and embody it. It takes a constant re-recognition of The One, acceptance of Love and Law, a surrender of the old way of being, and trusting the process.
You are more than you appear to be -
Life is greater than you have ever known it-
The best is yet to come.

Thank you Dr. Holmes!

There is One Life, that life is God's life, that life is perfect, and that life is my life now.

This is my Truth. As I continually open myself to a deeper understanding of it, my life reflects its beauty and grace. Good and more good is attracted into every area of my life. I share what I know and what I have with joy.

I celebrate this with every fiber of my being. I am so grateful to the One's Presence and Power in my life and in the life of all I know.

I release these words knowing they are so, and so it is.
